Get it.
7.5 / 10
Every level is extreamly linear. So linear that you may as well be on a rail like a light gun arcade game. Every level is just a hallway. and the gameplay is boring and repetitive. The main gimmick is being able to cut your enemies into bits and peices but that loses it's appeal real quick. Most enemies are so easy specifically so you can cut them to peices over and over. So there isn't much in the way of real challange.
The story is pure cheese In the opening scene you even find out that everything that happened in MGS4 didn't matter. You'll hear a lot of lines like "My sword is a tool of justice" that just make you want to roll your eyes.
My recommendation is go abuse gamestops used game return policy because this is not worth the time, money, or storage space of a better game.
NANOMACHINES, SON
Don't get it today, get it yesterday.
It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good is what this game is. Possibly not quite as good as the best spectacle fighters, but from those you can play on PC, you won't find anything better.
The final boss alone is incredible. He's a two-legged meme machine, and as far as game mechanics are concerned, he requires you to combine everything you've learned from previous bosses. The presentation alone is so great that even for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quick-time event, I'm almost falling out of my chair going "OH MY GOD I'M THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FIST OF THE NORTH STAR JESUS CHRIST".
Check out ChipCheezum's LP for the game, if you're need more convincing. If the first part does not make you want to buy the game, there's nothing I could say to change your mind.
I never played Bayonetta and i never finished any DmC, expect the newest, because in the previous games the controls were sucked, but i realy like Devil May Cry (5, the newest).
Thanks in advance
RULES OF NATURE/10
Thanks!
I did, but most of them are just jokes, for sorry....
The camera is an annoyance at parts, but it is alright. The controls are great (atleast on a KB + M setup).
As a hack and slash game, this gets 8.5/10. Some minor savepoint issues (that only bothers you if you care about scoring or achievements) reduces this score a bit.
Easily get 15 odd hours out of it.
