Hello! i wanted to hear peoples thoughts, was about to buy prime world to have some fun to play around when iam bored. but before i purchase wanted to hear what others say is it worth the money or mby there are better td games on steam?

This is one of the best TD games I've ever played. It's still new and has a few bug here and there but all will be worked out in time. The devs also have done a great job communicating with everyone on the forum which shows you how much they're willing to listen to us. I already have 60 hours invested in the game and still play it which is more time than any other TD game I've played. Prime World Defender is well worth the money and I would gladly throw money at these devs for anything else they make.

I wont say this is the best, not yet, it is far too early to give this game such a title.However, and like Tim, I've invested a lot of my time in it—almost 50 hours in the last week alone—and every bit of that has been enjoyable. It does get boring when your finished (or almost finished) with the game in its current state, there are coming content features that will offer continue replayability beyond end-game content, so it is something to look forward to. I've only played a few TD's over the years, and for me Dungeon Defenders takes top spot, but that is because my experience is limited. Outside of Steam Kingdom Rush is incredible fun, but Prime World is well worth the minimal $15 investment for so many hours of fun.

yea dungeon defenders was fun invested my self good 500hr in that game.
and thanks Mammoth didnt even think to check about demo, just see TotalBiscuit playing it and feelt kind of fun. anyways testing now demo and so far having fun

I think this game is relaxing, compared to other TD games where it get frustrating to get gold medals for example. However it still has a few bugg, hopefully the devs will fix them soon.

yea thats what i was looking for, just something relaxing where i dont need to think too much and can just listen to some music and do other things at the same, without feeling distracted if i stop playing it for few seconds

If you enjoy the TD genre as I do, you owe it to yourself to try the demo. It's very well done and nice to look at. The card mechanics is what puts it over the top for me. It still needs some balancing and a few bug fixes and UI enhancements - but the game is very playable and enjoyable as is. The very nice thing about this is that the Devs pay attention to these forums and give us feedback. It's very refreshing. Enjoy!

ohh thanks for answers. i already tryed demo and purchased shortly after. i havent got too far but i love it and its kind of addictive too. not sure yet about those balansing issues since i havent got too many towers yet but i like to get 1 star in mission and then grind for a bit and come back later and destroy that mission like there was no tomorrow, makes u feel powerful and ur grinding worth while

Smart choice, these devs are worth it. I don't mean to sound like a fan boy but they have done a really good job with interacting with the community and taking feedback. They even released a demo which is great for business unlike other developers who sell bad games with no demo because they don't want you to know how bad it is.

It's more of a tower defense RPG than one that's particularly strategic, though. More Dungeon Defenders than Defense Grid.

I prefer to think of it as Defense Grid lite with a nice card mechanic.

It's easily worth what they are charging for it.It still needs some work but the devs actively communicate with the players and act on the feedback they get.Probably the best few quid I've spent in quite some time.

Its really addicting and satisfying to level up your cards and theres a little rush of delight when you get lucky and get your first card of a new tower.

I just recently had my end of the cycle Daily Reward, the one that rewards a epic (purple) card, and it was my first Dragon Tower! That was pretty sweet and things like that are why you'll get plenty of hours of fun out of it.

Beyond its unique card system its also just a damn good TD game in general. $$$ well spent.

Yeah I like Defenders Quest. Though I must admit I'm a sucker for the card tower mechanics in this game and the eye candy.
