Now that the hype is over, how are everyone enjoying this game?
I'm just wondering, since I'm thinking of maybe buying this game!

Did they make checkpoints/savepoints more often than what they first had implemented? Are there many user-generated campaigns?

It's pretty cool.

I'd pass. Buy X-com collection on Amazon for $10. Waaaaaaaaaay better deal.

I don't think they implemented more saves points in the Dead Man Switch, that is the main (about) 15h game. But, honestly, this is not a real sore when you have learned the basics.

There are about 20 UGC - Stories made by the Toolset users, from 1h to several hours of play.

I think that many creators are working yet on various projects, but it takes a long time to build and fix an UGC. So, many nice things to come.

yeah, it's pretty cool. :]

and it's easy. maybe it was little shorter than i expected, but hey, it's indie... i really enjoyed the music too... and character art. and people talk about saves like crazy because there is nothing more to say.

i bought it and i'm happy about it. ;]
I liked it, also with more and more user made missions/content being made all the time, it will last even longer. Looking forward to the Berlin campaign to.

It's a decent buy. It doesn't really measure up to the standards we are used to in recent days RPG's as there is little interactivity with environments, not a huge deal of dialogue or any open world to begin with, but it still tells a good story and I like the combat. It's really not the kind of game that ushered in a new era of excellence, but it's a fun ride non the less. If you like Shadowrun and don't expect a triple A title, chances are you will be happy enough.

I'm really enjoying it. In my opinion, a great indie title.

I'm enjoying it for the price. Like most working stiffs I get in about 45 minutes a night. It's lasted me about 10 days so far (give or take each night). By making me actually read the story I've enjoyed it more than most cutscene type of games. Pretty good. For $20 it's not bad. Hopefully, the devs or community will make a few more episodes/stories in the future and we're good to go.

I'm also relatively new to CRPG isometric etc. So, for me it's a nice ease into this genre.

Any questions... ask away!

I found the game a letdown to be honest. It's not a bad game , definetly not a bad game just very meh...

If it was released 15 years ago it still would be a dissapionting game. Everything is so watered down.. I just found magic and cyberware very dull and simplified.

Nothing is done well in the game . Nothing is done badly either , just mediocre. There is no ambition at all , nothing exciting. Probably the safest most average game i've ever played.

I cant think of a single thing in the game interesting enough to tell anyone about.

I bought it back in late august and I haven't been able to play it once. Sent in a message to the devs and they said "thank you for telling us, we'll get right on it." They haven;t responded to follow up emails.

The simplistic gameplay got boring really fast. Without the Shadowrun lable on top this game would not be worth a second thought. Billy said it perfectly a thouroghly mediocre game.

I feel the game was well worth 20$. I enjoyed the main campaign, and devoured it in about 2 gaming sessions so my only complaint was that the game wasn't longer than 12 hours.
That being said, there is alot of User generated content that lets me mess around while HBS works on the Berlin campaign. Honestly I hope they keep releasing campaign installments.
Do not compare this game to the XCOM series because XCOM bundle is a recognized cult classic which is cheap because it was made in 1994. Its the same reason you can't compare this game to Baldurs gate. This game is not an epic game by any means. Its a decent title and hence, its 20 bucks brand new. It isn't neverwinter nights. It will entertain you for 12 hours with the main campaign. I think people created false expectations and that is why they are so butt hurt.
