Running a bit rough?

It's been a very long time since I've played this game but I got bored and a city builder sounded perfect last night, booted it up however and it ran pretty poorly. Low FPS, the radius menu for buildings stutters on opening; it all turned a pretty decent looking game into an eye sore. Is there any common problems with this game that I could try to fix or is that just how it is now?

ı have the same problem. I increased the refresh rate to 120 hz (this helped), which is my monitor RR. But the radius menu is still stuttering.
