i have tried restarting steam, i will try my computor.
i did uninstall and unsub from all my workshop mods and resubbed but they are not downloading
there is nothing else you really can do.
you have to wait for steam

any news on this?? my mods don't work either
contact steam support. We have nothing what so ever to do with how steam maintains the workshop

so i did get it working, what i did was i opted out of steam beta and deleted my download cache and restarted steam like maybe 4 different times and then it worked

I had the same issue. I found out two different ways to fix it. 1. Reinstall Kenshi: This redownloads your workshop files correctly, but for some reason my game still wipes the mod list frequently so I have to redownload the game frequently. 2. Take all of your mods from the workshop folder (should be in the steamapps folder on your drive, just google "where to find the steam workshop folder") and copy them into the Kenshi mods folder. Then rename the individual mods (should be a varying array of numbers) to each mod's actual name (should be able to copy the name of the main file in each mod then paste it onto the folder containing the individual mod's contents). This means that every time you get new mods from the workshop you have to manually move them from your workshop folder, then rename the mod to have the correct name once you put it in your mod folder (mod folder is located in the kenshi local files). It's a collosal pain in the butt but from what I can gather this is a steam issue just like Hatsune Neko is saying. Nothing the Kenshi devs can do about it. Just reinstall the game for a quick fix or painstakingly move the mods from the workshop folder to the kenshi mod folder, then rename them. No quick fix for us, friends. Note: The latter option, while painful, has seemed to have fixed the issue. Adding mods manually from the workshop folder has fixed the problem, but remember to do the same for any mods you download in the future because they will NOT show up in the mod list until you do.

I fixed this by clearing Steam's Download Cache:

1. Click on 'Steam' (top left of the client)
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Click on 'Downloads'
4. Click on 'Clear Download Cache'
5. Restart Steam
