Crash free LUL https://clips.twitch.tv/DepressedDepressedRaccoonDoggo

To be fair, he did play dozens of hours without crash before it finally crashed so his statement that you can watch dozens of hours crashfree is still correct :)

Genius. Then also start selling nudes, and call it "real work" but get mad when the topic of an audit and paying taxes for "real work" come up. Lol.

Twitch thots are something else. Smh.

I haven't played the 1.x versions yet. I have over 400 hours in the 3/4 map version, so I'm going to leave it a bit longer yet so it feels fresher when I come back.

Has it gotten crashier? I had a heavily modded game back then with a base in HN's backyard (and three others spread over the map), but don't remember that many crashes except when I was messing with the editor.

I did sit down and watch the first couple of gameplay video's Cohh did, and I've dipped in and out of his Twitch channel. I wanted to see how someone with no expectations of the game would react to it. He's been positively gleeful, even on day four and thirty hours under his belt. Good to see.

He's playing pretty much unmodded except for the 256 follower mod, so maybe that's why he hasn't had a problem with crashes.

Well I'm the one who brought up crashes and I play entirely unmodded.

Yep, and as I'm catching up on Cohh's streams, he's mentioned refreshing the NavMesh to get around pathing issues, which really shouldn't be a thing by now.

I kinda look on myself as a PC gamer. I edited autoexec to make Doom run. This stuff doesn't bother me. But you under 50 year old gamers? I bet it infuriates you. I hope it gets sorted.

I have a Let's Play going on my YouTube channel if anyone is interested. I play slowly and really get into the game - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAvzXVwtJQ4

I got this game because of delrith and cohhcarnage.

Currently i am playing with a bunch of mods. (yes some to get rid of grind, while i learn the game)
About 3 crashes so far, trurned of fast loading or some such of the zones, and stable after that i think.
(i did turn down some other stuff too i think, just to unload some effort on my gpu)

Love it so far, going to learn some base building now, and save a cleaner playthrough for later.
Have not really explored all that much, the map is huuge i feel.

The so Called "grind" which it isnt. Is part of the game, so how can you possibly learn the game by removing core mechanics of it. also good of you to watch CohCarnage, delrith, on the other hand, is an idiot who cheated hes way to 100 stat characters using mods in less than 10 ingame days and is now bored of the game.

Alternatively, people can play any way they want. But yeah Delrith ruined the game for himself.

To be fair, I played with the recruitable prisoners mod which is also REALLY exploitable, but still managed to play over 400 hours without getting bored.

That guy is the worst game streamer in the history of game streaming. I have no idea why he gets so much attention. Maybe its the name. And hes not even playing kenshi. I doubt he could handle the difficulty of this game.

Delrith didn't ruin the game he loved it lol. He purposefuly cheese that because that what he find as fun. Like most people will suggest you should mine for early income but screw that I go out and find stuff even if it mean I have to save scum there multiple ways to play the game, do what you find fun and it will flow from there :steammocking:

I never mine for income, thats so boring. I collect stuff that guards kill and sell that and try to get some combat exp at the same time.

It's boring but you can easily automate it by buying property in a city with ore veins near by, build ore storage in the city, and shift-right clicking the ore veins to work on them. Your people will automatically mine till the vein is full, load all of the ore, haul it into town and dump it, and then return to mining.

Then all you have to manage is their food so they don't starve to death. Either just pack them with food when you sell the ore, or build a food storage container near their ore containers and they'll run in to eat when they need to.

Lets you spend most of your time dealing with other squads doing other things, like scavenging loot from battles or training.

Btw. in dropped frames from last week Cohh nominated Kenshi at number 5 for his favorite streamed games in 2018 and talked about why he loves the game. Starts at exactly 02:45 in the video.
