Cancelling a selection/transform deletes the ink from the current layer

I was doing a scale transform on a lasso selection, and when I canceled the operation the selection was deleted. The problem is it doesn't "undo" back to when the selection was made. A couple times, I didn't notice this and later found chunks of my drawing were missing.

It's reproduceable by the following steps:

1.) Draw something
2.) Under "Select & Transform", chose "Draw Lasso"
3.) Draw your selection on the layer
4.) Under "Select & Transform", choose "Transform Tool"
5.) Manipulate the the selction
6.) Click "Cancel" on the right sidebar
7.) The selection has been deleted, and the original layer is missing ink where the selection was.

By design or a bug?

Sorry for the comparison again, but in PS and Manga Studio, cancelling a transform automatically returns you to where you first made the selection on that layer.

Hum you're right it's bug :(

We will fix that in the next release BUT there's a workaround.
Just make an undo just after the cancel and you will retrieve your selection and your drawing ;)
