Is there an actual "brush" brush?
I want a brush that blends when i draw with low pressure, and add colour when i press harder.
"why dont you make it yourself?" Its way too complicated for me, even after watching the tutorials.

Brush workshop would be great!

Bleank`s tutorial on youtube cover this topic I believe. They don`t create exactly what you want but give you the idea how to use it. Also I would suggest to see how other brushes created, how it works, try to implement something yours. It`s much interesting to create something on your own than just to use ready solution

Do you mean something like felt pen[] brush?
Or do you want something else?

A brush like watercolour, oilpaint or similar.
In SAI the standard watercolour brush blends on low pressure, and adds colour on high pressure.

In black ink the closest to that is the colored smudge, but it creates swirls and everything because it doesn't blend entirely, but smudge.

What i am looking for is a brush that blends well
Great software btw, it supports me more than other software :D

Did you try the smudge expand colored[]? It isn't exactly the same result of the watercolor of Sai but if you adapt your parameters and use the color autopicking I think it is possible to blend your colors as you wish.

Nevertheless we are going to create the brush you want :)

Mhm, very close to what i had imagined. This would come in handy for blending skin colors making a smooth transition.

To think i would get so excited to see a brush :steamhappy:

Is there more parts to the brush? it doesn't work the way it does on your twitter. it just erases and add no color to it D:

hummm no.. but I see a strange behavior indeed ( a bug )..

To workaround the problem open the BSL of the WaterColor and comment the line by addind two
// at the beginning :

click on the settings wheel to open the BSL editor[]

acolor.a *= i.eraser ? 0 : 1 ; // take intou accounr eraser
become :
//acolor.a *= i.eraser ? 0 : 1 ; // take intou accounr eraser

modify this line[]

And it should work..
