Character talents should all be active when unlocked
This is a mere suggestion and would love to be rewarded as such where unlocking these character perks/talents should all be active on the run. Is it overpowered then? I don't think so since game is hard enough as it is lol. Wonder what everyone else thinks?

Yeah, it kind of feels bad to unlock more than one and not be able to use them...

I agree with you, but I also think there's some value in having to choose one sign to use at a time because it encourages trying different builds. I think the best solution would be that for each sign you unlock, you get a permanent passive bonus on the character which is a weaker version of the same effect the sign gives when actively selected. For example Merris' first sign gives +8% spell damage up to a maximum of 80%. So when you have it unlocked, it could give her an extra 10% spell damage all the time whether you're using it or not.

I think a good option would be challenges that use those talents that give you a permanent lesser effect of it all the time, so like if you use the mage time buff and finish the challenge for it the upgrade would be extra pull area across all mage talents. Would give an incentive to play with them all while also giving further meta progression.

I think it would be too OP but there is certain ones that I think should be allowed. Like the Warrior gets a pet bird but it's not all that great. Ended up beating the final boss using the +0.2 health regen bonus with her instead.

I would say 2 or maybe 3 of them is a good spot, depressing that you can only activate one.

I kinda wish we could just swap it on the fly with a large unscaleable cooldown.
feels bad to start a run with merris and summon damage rune just to get offered a legend/master skill that leads into a much different build where I would want spell damage/projectiles/the other one.

would be far to broken to let us use multiple.

Anything with health regen and stacking armor really, really helps for me and of course move speed. On one run, had about 70% damage reduction but no life regen so lost anyways lol.

I would agree, but most of the perks are massively powerful on their own.

That would be extremely overpowered. A single blessing is already legendary levels of strength for the run. The game isn't that hard once you learn it.

Its for spell projectiles. Your basic attack is not a spell.
