Prisoners not going to sleep?

At night when it's night night time, they don't go to sleep. Whats weird is half of them do, and half of them don't? The cells are all done correctly with everything nice. I can't get them to go to sleep and it's making their need for sleep go to critical. They get 8 hours of sleep a day, well they should if they didn't just stand up and walk around their cells. Do they have insomnia or something?

Like I said, all 286 of them are not sleeping because drugs? My prison is advanced hardly any of them still need drugs.

Apart from sleep, what other critical needs do they have? They sometimes wonder around the cell but eventually go to bed, unless there is another prioritised need.

Also, 8 hours is usually too much sleep. 6 hours should suffice, some players have even less.

Like I said, My prison is very advanced. Sleep is the only thing with red critical.

Prisioners will not go to bed before 10, or stay in bed after 9, no matter how tired they are. I tryed putting some of my prisioner to sleep at 8 and they just wander around complaining they are tired lol. The sleeping system needs quite a bit of work. That and some of the kitchen/laundry wierdness are proobobly my biggest complaints todate. We'll se what the bug bash brings though!

Are the prisioner all the same sec lvl (possible schedualling issue), and are the 'functional' cells and 'non functional' ones clones? (possible placment issues). Beyond that I think we might need screen shots please.

Mine go to sleep at night unless a fight or something wakes them up, then i notice they dont like to go back to sleep for a few hours. Sometimes they go to sleep early when they feel like it during freetime.

just because it is on a schdule does not mean they automatically feel like sleeping at the time on the schedule

Dunno how your prison runs but for the most part my prisoners sleep at night or during free time.

I have sleep from Midnight-5Am
And freetime from 7-midnight
if they feel like sleeping longer they can go to bed during their freetime, which they tend to start doing around 8 or 9.

I have my armed guards just shoot them if they don't go to bed. ;)

I like to run different scheduals for my prisioners, so bedtime starts for noraml prisioner s at 9, then max at 1, min at 2, and protective/ S. max at 4.
