Characters continuing to Avadon 3

I see Avadon 3 is on sale on gog, and am wondering if having that and Avadon 2 on Steam would prevent any continuing characters from Avadon 2 in the next game.

In any spiderweb game each game has its own heroes and also requires no knowledge of the last game hope that helps
