No. Unless the offline patch in the works is added within the next 3 days.

Very doubtful. Which is a shame since it was previously promised on Steam pages and on the Kickstarter page that offline would definitely be in by the time of final retail release. Which is in three days.

Offline needs to be implemented.

Should have been added before or with 1.0. These forums will be pretty negative when people see the strange choice of having to start a "multiplayer" session to play "singleplayer".

We need offline mode, period.

Offline mode is in the works and supposed to come 'soon' after 1.0.

I agree, though, Offline mode is extremly important. Just imagine what kind of battles your pc can create, when even a single-core cpu manages 1.5k units on a good day?

So now that release is around the corner we can see where the devs spent money on the game.
Optimization and a stable build with a easy to use user interface along with a tutorial i mean there is only one faction this shouldnt be hard along with fulfilling the other promises like the game is available offline. We have a cash shop to add new things into the game but I hope they made sure the game works before they started thinking about how to make more money from it.
Sad to hear they went to hardcopy and offical release and still no single player though they do have a few days left
thanks for the feedback.

Do you guys mean a 'offline, single-player campaign'? I mean, skirmish games are offline - this isn't the first game that didn't include a single player campaign ISTR.

No, they're not. All games simulated on developers servers, no exceptions.

oh? odd.

Once they get off-line implemented, I will be more than happy with this game. Joyous in fact.

well yet another promise broken it was defitnetly promised on release but broken promise again.

Why would single player games be on the servers? Seems like a waste of space and whoever thought to have single player online only is a moron.

It is actually a good decision to tread multiplayer and singleplayer exactly the same cos it makes certain things easier to implement.

The plan also is and always was to release the server for everyone. So, if you want to play offline all you need to do is to run a local server, which can be done automatically as soon as you click the "play offline" button.

The advantage of doing most stuff server side is that the system requirement are a little bit lower for the players. The downside however is that you need a good internet connection.

Give me higher systems requirements anyday so I can play the game whenever I want and not be forced to be online.
