How would you compare this game to q.u.b.e, antichamber, and Portal? Thinking about purchasing.
Is this a game like the ones I mentioned? Is there basically no story, just puzzle after puzzle? Do you think it's superior or inferior to the games listed above? Why or why not? Thanks.

Last day of the sale! Id really appreciate if anyone can help me decide on whether or not to get it.

While I haven't played this yet, the "environmental storytelling" aspect makes me think it's more like Myst than those games (although the Portal games have some of that.)

I've played Portal, QUBE and Antichamber. It's hard to compare them to Kairo, since they are all three FPS in which you are in close environments using skills to solve puzzle. In Kairo, it's way more open, and the puzzles are way more diverse, even if sometime simplistic. There is no skill, just logic and deduction.

After playing it for a bit, this reminds me of an old Mac game probably nobody here has ever played called Nightfall. You were inside an Egyptian tomb and had to solve puzzles to escape. It had a similar aesthetic.

For me:

Portal - Tutorial included, funny dialogs

QUBE - Tutorial included, interesting flashy graphic design

Kairo - Here is a room with a puzzle, solve it like a badass!

All 3 games have their own uniqueness. And they are all great games.
