How to teleport ?

I've missed some souls in previous levels and i would like to go back , but when im in HUB every time ill go near the gate it will close itself and point me towards my ,,last location'' stone , do i need to finish the entire journey first , and then i can go back ?

Basically it's advised to finish Eden once before going for full completion of spirits, because you won't be able to see the seasonal spirits in the area unless someone triggered it for you before completing Eden. After Eden, all spirits are visible to you and since you need to recollect the winged lights you have to redo the maps all over again anyway.

For the Teleport Gates not working, there's 2 possibilities:
[1] You have an active quest that require you to go to certain place with high priority.
[2] Bugged, restarting the game might solve it.

With teleports problem i think its 1st option because its literaly turning off portals one by one and forcing me to use my waypoint , and thanks for advice
