Resetting your progression

Hi Survivors,

A recent hotfix has added a "Reset Progress" option in the game. Besides being useful if you want to start fresh, it's also a solution if you find yourself unable to start a run because the Scout doesn't have any class mods unlocked.

OLD:
Some of you may want to reset your progress for whatever reason. We plan on adding a "reset progress" button in Options in a hotfix shortly after launch, but until then, here is the way to do it manually:

Delete the folder *Main Disk*:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Funday Games\DRG Survivor
But you have to 1st deactivate Steam Cloud Sync for this game, so that Steam doesn't recover that folder. After you started playing you can activate Cloud Sync again.

Will there be any more forced resets at all, even before the full release, or can we expect to keep all of our progress past this point?

We cannot promise that we wont wipe save data or parts of progress during EA, but we will not do so lightly. But imagine we find out the the entire progression system is actually not good at all, and redesign it from scratch to be better. In that case, your save data will be nonsense and we will have to wipe it. But we don't aim to do so, and we promise to only do it if absolutely necessary and warn you ahead of time.

My game reset progress after crash lost 5 hours of play. Can I get my progress back some how?

Same problem. During the game, the lights turned off and when I re-entered the game, all progress was lost. How to restore everything?

Same problem. 4 hours of play, crash and all my progress was lost

same. 3 hours of progress here and my laptop died( didnt notice it unplugged itself) now my progress is all gone

I have the same problem. I was playing with my laptop unplugged then the laptop crashed. After playing the game again, my 6 hours of progress was lost. How do I get it back
