Killing floor 2 Startup crash (0xc000007b) "Possible Fix"
Hey, first i want to say thanks to the user Dragonblade, for helping me with Killing floor 2
This possible fix, is for people who has the 0xc000007b error , when they try to start the game.
There we go!
1.- Make sure, that u have x64 bits SO
2.- Download, dependency walker 2.2 x64 from this link: http://www.dependencywalker.com/depends22_x64.zip
3.- Open Dependency walker, and search for KfGame executable on KF2 folder
4.- The program will show you the DLL's that the game needs to run correctly
5.- U will see a screen like this:
http://postimg.org/image/ym9k18mfz/
6.- U have to check this:
http://postimg.org/image/tb6tvv0yz/
7.- If in the CPU column, there is a red x32 text, you have to search that DLL on internet in x64 format, and u have to put it on system 32.

In my case, i had a x32 DLL, that was: XINPUT1_3.DLL, i had to download the x64 version of that DLL on internet, i copied that dll on system 32, and the game ran perfectly

I hope this will help people with the 0xc000007b error.
Thanks Guys, and sorry if my english is not the best
Any questions or doubts, i am here to help:)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! That worked for me! :D

I'd still like to get a x64 version of IEframe.dll, but it seems to work fine for now! Thanks a lot! :D

This seems like an awesome fix and one ive not seen yet after trying everything else. When I see in the CPU columb 'x86' or 'Error opening file. The system cannot find the file specified (2)' are those the ones that i have to search online and install? and what do you mean when you say you have to put it on system 32? i am slightly confused. :(

Yes, the lines with the errors show you which DLL file is missing. You can easily google for them, because there are lots of "missing DLL"-sites available.

http://www.dll-files.com for example. (There you can even chose between 32bit and 64bit versions)

And he is talking about the "System32" folder in your Windows directory. (Usually: c:/windows/System32)

Thank you, this worked for me as well. Turns out I had a 32bit DLL from Visual C++ lurking, quick googling found a reliable way to replace it.

I Don't find this Dlls: EXT-MS-WIN-NTUSER-UICONTEXT-EXT-L1-1-0.DLL ----------------------------- API-MS-WIN-CORE-SHUTDOWN-L1-1-1.DLL

Hi my dependecy walker keeps saying that some of my .dll files are x84. I've replaced them with the x64 version a hundred of times but the error is still there, any ideas??

Try removing and re-installing whichever package contains those DLLs (Visual C++ was mine), and don't forget to reboot. At worst you may need to go into Safe Mode and replace the files in the system cache folder as well because windows is likely replacing the file for system integrity. (google it)

omg thank you , 3 days of me an my dad reading and trying diff things over an over. sure enough once we ran the D.W. it showed 2 missing dll.. just copied name pasted an searched for it downloaded them then drag it into the windows32 folder. after we replaced the 1st one all sudden ran it again an there were 3, but replaced or i should say only had to replace one and add 2 missing ones. ran D.W. again everything was good, didnt even have to restart pc , we high fived each other and now we playing finally. my dad has fixed an helped many people with diff games over the last 10 years and by far this was the worse he said. what we had to do to get this to work is absolutly a joke.
