What's the status on the Linux & Mac versions?

This is totally gaming the system. I voted for this game on Greenlight because it said there will be a Linux version. Now you got my vote and if you don't publish a Linux version there's nothing I can do to hold you accountable. Linux at launch or nothing. I've seen too many developers promise Linux early on and then drop it later because it's inconvenient.

Yeah, there's some games on Greenlight saying if they get greenlight, they promise a Linux version. While it's great that they are at least thinking about it, it just feels like they're using us to get votes. It's especially insulting when they are using a engine like Unity (this one isnt I believe), where if they are on unity 4, it's not as much of a hassle to do the port.

It'd be much better if the developers were already working on all three platforms and released all during the same time. That, or not advertising that you will be releasing a Linux version along with the rest when it's not going to happen.

These developers earlier said they were planning on releasing all three at the same time (http://snowbirdgames.com/?p=662&lang=en). Almost sounds like from the fact that that post was made in January that little progress has been made so far, but I could be wrong. A unique engine can take some time to port, but it seems like their communication could have been much better to say earlier than people asking weeks before the game is coming out that they aren't ready yet.

Hopefully the game will release on Linux soon and be supported well. If so, I'd consider buying it.

I completely agree, the only reason I voted and pre-ordered was because of the linux version and now it's completely put off and I had no idea until reading this, very bad customer service

This is exactly how I feel. I likewise only voted for it because they said there would be a Linux version.

I also was very interrested in the Game, I also gave my Vote for the Linux Support.
Hope they din't drop the Linux Support completly. Maybe we schould anouce this Thread a bit more so they can hear the Penguin Crowd!
