Hey, let us know if it worked for you or not!

if you are working for steam or sega be advised: if it will work, sure i will post a comment so to help all the users who have same problems. not to help your companies. because it is the second time i have issues with steam/sega games. i have paid for the game and game i cant play. so please. if on the other hand you are just a user: my friend i will notify.

Hi guys. after many email exchange with sega support here is the suggestion from sega that helped me with the problem:
Please try using MsConfig to rule out the possibility of a conflict with another software/application:

- Click the Start button and type: msconfig

If your computer is in Normal Startup do the following:

- Click the Selective Startup button.
- Uncheck the Load Startup items (or Load Startup Group items) box.
- Select the Services tab and check Hide all Microsoft services.
- Click Disable all.
- Click Apply and Close.
- Restart the computer when prompted.
- Once restarted, if the system configuration window appears, close the window. Select No to restarting if prompted.

of course there were many other sega suggestions before this (drivers, reinstallation, etc.) but this solved the problem.

Nothing works. I bought the pirated CoH2. I'm happy now. Thanks a lot Steam. You renewed my faith in Software piracy and forced me to learn Russian

The procedure described by @Fa2ony85 worked for me. What I did:
- I've also disabled the Steam Cloud synchronisation while checking the integrity of the installation.
- I did it twice and both times everything was ok.
- I've started CoH2 after two times check and the Installation continued (and did not stop at 1% as before).
- I've reenabled the Steam Cloud Synchronisation afterwards.
