Inordinate amount of lag in Act V

What says on the tin. Mine is no gaming laptop, but it definitely meets the recommended specifications for the game. I've been enjoying the game with buttery smoothness up until Act V, and suddenly it lags so bad that it ruins my immersion completely. I also somehow managed to glitch the cat beneath the map at some point - I could roam freely, but I could see only the firefly, while I think the cat was stuck on a lower plane of the map. What is going on with Act V?

Mine was running at 300 fps on a 240 fps screen and still lagged. it's the game

If it would be a game, everybody would have it, but since that's not the case ...

KRZ would probably run fine even on a toaster. 😉

Try:
1. Check Windows system files ( sfc /scannow )
2. Check HDD/SSD ( chkdsk c: /f /r /x )
3. Clear DirectX shader cache
