After Windows 10 update, mouse not working

Today Windows 10 updated itself (Feature Update Version 1709), and the Swapper mouse control no longer works.... it just jitters about in the top left corner of the screen. After reading a few earlier threads I set compatibility property in the exe file to 'Windows 7' and this made no difference. Tried other windows versions and again made no difference.
Can anyone advise?

I tried emailing support at the game company ... no response at all. Anyone know how I get a refund for this ? TIA

This was the first thing I tried, without any success.

Selecting "compatibility" on the "beta" tab fixed the mouse issue for me! :)

for some reason I had got linked to setting compatibility in the exe file (not sure how I got there). Doing beta compatibility has now fixed this. (still puzzled though)
