C++ Runtime Error
If anyone gets a runtime error after completing all 4 spells and getting your coat, once your teleported to the main portal tree I got a C++ runtime error. I fixed it by uninstalling ALL of my "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010 Runtimes" and left only the 2012 runtime installed by this game. Obviously that was a half-♥♥♥♥♥ and impatient way to fix it as most of the runtimes are needed by some other programs, but this fixed it for me. I'd advise you to make a save point and remove one by one until the runtime error is fixed if you really want to pinpoint which version is messing it up. I left 2012 x86 (11.0.50727) and game works.

Oh, I wished so much that would work with me =/

Although the last version of my visual C++ was 2010. Then, I tried to install the 2012 x86 (11.0.6something), and just try with that version. No luck =/

I really want to finish the game >.<

I noticed something else actually, the reason the visual c++ runtime errors even occured is because my "Virtual Memory" maxed out. I have 4gb ddr3 ram and a pretty fast ssd, but the game still easily used all of that and close to 2gb virtual memory on my ssd. Before I had it set to around 1.5gb virtual memory.. increasing it to 2gb allowed me to finish the game without the errors coming up.

I managed to finish the game just now. I did a google search I saw on a deponia post that this thing happened on that game as well. In the visionaire configuration tool there's a option 'texture compression'. I just checked that and it worked.

Although the game was very laggy and I almost gave up on the last part. >.< But I did finish it :D:

GJ! Yea I had that checked for most of the game, but it made loading times very slow (10 sec) which is REALLY annoying moving from one spot to the next so I turned it off without any noticable difference in image quality. Anyways loved the game

Tks! =D
10 secs of loading? You're lucky! It took a long time to load for me, I usually opened the game and went to get a glass of water, or such things. When I came back, the game was still loading...

Between places in the game the loading was faster, or else it would be really unplayable.

And I loved the game as well. The art, the voice, the puzzles... they're really m y tipe of game =D

either the game is way too reliant on CPU or GPU, but definitely does not take advantage of both.

True... they should really fix it, beacuse the game is amazing!

I'm having a really bad luck with games lately. The night of the rabbit, CIV (it doesn't get the late game achievs because I don't have the dlcs), closure (lag after some time playing)... =/

I can't seem to be able to play this game... and I'm able to play games like L4D2, Dead Space, what ever. This game goes way too slow, is impossible to play, I don't know what to do
