If this was a daily or flash deal...
I'd buy it.

I don't care if its only 1% more off. Right now, thats the push I need to buy this product. Anyone else in the same boat?

Yepp, I'll wait if it's getting in the Flash Deal section, too. I've bought YNAB an hour too soon, so this time I'l try and not repeat that mistake :)

Your already saving 50 euros compared to buy it directly from them soo

Yes, and that's great, no doubt about that ;D

For me, the thing is: I'm not a game developer. In a not too distant future, I'm going to be a teacher. I have so many tasks for students, so many class room layouts etc to track, that I kind of lose sight over all my options. Articy:draft is great for handling storys, characters, branching archs of dialogue, etc (yes, I've tried the demo), so maybe with it, I will be able to try a different approach to handling my lesson plan ;) (In addition, I want to prove a point of structureing a classroom/lesson plan like a game might make more sense than many of my teachers think)
I don't use it for its original purpose. I wouldn't use most of its options and there is no guarantee that my thesis might work, since I need more than a month to try it.
For an aspiring game developer, 50€ might not be much and if I would plan to use it for making games, I would happily pay it =D But as a student and a teacher in the future, I have to plan on what ressources to spent my university-pocket-money, especially if they are not part of my main university-budget.

Furthermore, where's the problem in waiting for something to get cheaper? Yes, 50% off is a great deal. But let me tell you what happened a few days ago:
I got started with YNAB (You Need A Budget, great program). Usually, it costs about 50€. A few days ago, I found out it was on sale and bought it for about 30€. That's great, right? Yeah, I was happy with my purchase. Thing is: One hour later, it became part of the Flash Sales: 12€. That hurt. If I would have had a little more patience, I could have paid a (to me) great sum of money less. Enough money for a night at the cinema or another game.
So this time, I'll wait and see, if this program is going to be part of the Flash Sales. Not because 50% off isn't a great deal yet. Just because I don't want to feel like an idiot again.

I'm with people on this thread. I really like the idea behind and the looks of A:D but I have no immediate (or shortly foreseeable) use for it. The fact that we'll also not be buying the latest version is also something that dampens my interest in spending €50.

There is, however, always a huge lure to get a steam sale bargain that ends up swaying our decision. So I keep checking steam every 6 or so hours :D

I'll buy if goes 66% or more, like i spent almost 50 dollars on RPG Maker + DLCs.
Just bought it (commercial version) for 99$ while it's at 50%.

Paid the price of the SE for the commercial edition. In my opinion, that's a deal.
That will be added to my business expenses so, in the end, I'll get it back anyway.
(Keep your receip guys who can put this on the business!)
