Warframe Restarts My Computer.

Whenever I start a mission waframe instantly restarts my computer with no warning. I turned all my graphics down to low and turned off multi-threaded rendering and it still doesn't help. If anyone else is having this problem or knows how to fix it please let me know.

Same thing happens to me. Other games work just fine, but Warframe restarts my computer. It was fine since I started a few days ago and no other game causes this.

It hasen't restarted in a few days thank god lol but what I did was clean out the PC and apply more thermal paste to the fan and processor and it has been running pretty smoothly now. I still crash sometimes but that is just Warframe being Warframe lol

Still a PSU issue more than likely. Not every game will do it, but those symptoms point to PSU, or possibly bad RAM idk, but that's easy to check.

Yeah, gotta monitor thermals, modern PC's shut down to avoid damage.

Yup. Also one of the RAM sticks weren't in all the way for some dumb reason so that got fixed and probobaly helped.

When your game crashes, does it every stop your display driver? Or do you just crash straight to desktop?
I'm having issues with mine recently making the display driver stop and it's really annoying. Restarting PC fixes it temporarily it seems. dmp files don't seem to point to anything consistent atm, maybe it's just Warframe being derp.

Yes my game has done that. It has crashed the drivers but latley it has been ok. I still sometimes crash but now it just brings me to the desktop and I can easily stop the process. It is still really annoying and they need to fix it.

Ok so it's not just me.
It's pretty annoying when we're right at the end of a mission and it does that for no reason. I get any driver as the faulting module all the way from NDIS stuff up to DirectX drivers so idk. Nothing causes it for sure, just play, game locks up, then blackscreens while my display driver recovers. Game still appears to run but it's actually crashed and can't tab back in.
I've missed out on no more than 10 mission in the past two days I re-started playing this.

What makes it good is that since it doesn't properly crash to desktop it doesnt do an automatic error report.

Yeah I really really want to get back into warframe but the crashes just won't let me play lol

Pretty bad when you can play Watch Dogs at 1440P, maxed settings,TheWorseMod on at 45-60fps while streaming with no crashing but this, using less then 1gb VRAM and running at 300fps if I don't use vsync, just randomly crashes my gpu driver.

Weird thing is I never had this issue back when I played with my old AMD dual GPU (HD6990) I would have thought that I'd be having more crashes with that than with a 970.



If you play multiplayer with friends and join back quick enough, you can reconnect to the game and you won't lose any gun levels and stuff that you got, so that's nice at least.

Yeah BF4 works fine on max settings but forgive me if I want to play a free to play game on low settings lol before the archwing update I could play this game for hours with no problem and I loved it. I just really hope they fix these problems soon.

@Skizzles: for general crashes, disabling DX10 and maybe 11 in the launcher helped quite a few people. Might want to check these and if necessary some of the other options out.

I've done that and it still restarts my PC. It might be my PC but it only happens with Warframe so I'm assuming its something with the game.

Yes turning off DX10 helped for a bit but it still finds a way to crash sometimes. I think Warframe just needs to be updated with tons of bug fixes
