How does Primed Reach/Reach affect the Redeemer?

I think it only increase its "slashing/melee" range, as in when you swing the Redeemer, Nvm, the charge attack range is actually affected by reach mod.

I made mistake, there is maximum range, but from my experience using it I see no dmg fall off that I can tell.

I am testing now, i think the pallets that it shoots spread, thus making the damage fall off at long range because the pallets miss the target.

Unless you are still in stealth, you gain a x4 stealth dmg multipler according to the wiki thus boosting dmg. Plus its silent and got punch through.

yes, it does affect the melee range AND charged shot rage. also, the bullet dance stance let you shot even farther. i can hit stuff/enemies at 85m and more with it and primed range in it - though not all pellets will hit at very long range. still, at 50 meters it kills most lvl 100 enemies in one shot and even heavies when you got them stealth killed (charged shot, mind you - for with the finisher the damage is even higher). high noon, is a nice stance too, but compared with bullet dance it is just too slow when you want to shoot things up, not slashing them. bullet dance does have a "fast shot" too, if you do a tap on fire when holding it - it does not do the full charged damage then, but it is still insta death for most things. doing the charged shot, will first unleash the fast shot, and then the full power one (good way to deal with pesky nullies and arctic eximuses). if, when holding the redeemer, blocking with it, you can do some kind of quick-fast-shooting with it (about 2 fast-shots per sec. when using the primed fury mod and spoiled strike too - 3 or even 4 when using it without spoiled strike).
the redeemer is imh the most powerfull melee weapon in the game, if correctly modded, and can take you through a sortie 3 assassination mission with annoying conditions even in solo mode (for most of the bosses at least). keep in mind though that you will need some formas in it to get your portable deathstar - though leveling the weapon is easy if using loki or ivara (or invi-ash if you want to) and doing 3-4 solo spy runs on sedna with it, stealth killing everything in there without any affinity booster.
definitiv my favorit weapon, even though the "normal" melee behaviour kinda sucks and the "back-blast" of the charged shot can have some annoying effects too (blasting up explosive barrels or alerting enemies too close to you).

sure thing. my redeemer has 4 formas in it (because i use 3 prime mods in it and needed more cap for them). the stance i use nowadays is bullet dance and the rest goes for pure damage:
primed pressure point, primed reach, primed fury, spoiled strike, fever strike, shocking touch, molten impact and north wind.
you can arrange the damage mode in which order you like/need or change them out for the dual dmg mods if you want a status build - therefore, i would advise putting the formas not in for the damage mods, but for the rest (especially if you use the primed variants of them). you could go for a crit build, but i found that being able to one shot most enemies not require more critical chance (also, don't let the 5% crit chance fool you - it is NOT what gives you crits when using charged shot. read the wiki page more details about that). an other idea for the redeemer build is a focus on channeling - i find this nice for killing sortie 3 bosses in a few hits (hello, vay hek ^^) - carefull though about the energy costs.

I know it wasn't me you asked but here's mine: p pressure point, spoiled strike, fury, killing blow, 4x 90% elemental corrosive blast in one config and rad viral in another. Takes 3 forma, 4 with p fury. Killing blow can be replaced with p reach, but I don't think it's needed.

Your build is a lot like mine, i actually just finished maxing my Redeemer after the 2nd forma and i think i will stick with this build:

Bullet dance - Pressure Point - Fury - Fever Strike - Shocking Touch - Buzz Kill - Spoiled Strike - Molten Impact - North Wind

I've tried multiple stuff on the simulacrum as well, this gave me pretty much the best results.

Thanks for sharing as well, looks pretty good to me :D but i think i will stick with my build, especially because i don't want to forma it even more :P
