Are Tennogen Items linked to Steam Account OR the Warframe Account OR

Linked to the Warframe Account linked to the Steam account you are buying from. I hope this makes sense lol.

I have a problem. A lost Warframe account is linked to this Steam. I signed in with my Secondary Warframe account which is not linked but I do see the option to buy Tennogen items. I do not want to waste money and buy something that will only work on a lost account. Been google searching for answers but cant find any with confirmation. Steam Support not willing to help me with answers or unlinking of lost account.

If bought from inside Warframe, its linked to that account. Cant help you with Steam packs and which would be linked to what.

Well what did you ask steam support ? I asked between DE and Steam before on a problem and they go back and forth which I just end up giving up. But DE does say it should be Steam side, but since its about linking its gonna be more complicated.

Thanks a lot for the answer. I will just buy like a Syndana for $5 and see what happens lol. Wasting money but oh well not like I haven't gambled some away before.

Hi very sorry for Nekros but what happened after you bought the Syandana? I have similar problem with Steam bound to lost account and I have a new account.

What you buy is linked to your DE account. But if you're playing on Steam, that DE account is also linked to your Steam account.

e.g. You have DE account A, linked to Steam Account A. You buy item B via Steam. In-game you can access it/etc.

You now de-link the two accounts. That item is still linked to Steam Account A but NOT to DE account A. If you login via the DE launcher, you won't see item B. But if you create a new DE account C and link that to your Steam account A... you'll see item B on your DE account C.

Been awhile but that's how it worked for my Yamako syndana (bought via Steam)

TLDR Stuff you buy via the Steam economy is linked to your SteamID. You need to link to a DE account to see it present in your DE account (new Steam players get it automatically created?).

I don't know if this is how it works with Tennogen stuff.
