You can Activate Godmode via Config.

Just Open:

X:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin\PlayerProfiles\[YourProfileName]\config.lsx

Search for "GodMode" and Change it like this:

Edit: Ok, its really easy to Cheat Gold with Cheat Engine.

And another one to think about:
when you are in god mode, the whole party is.
So, if you can summon a spider or any other creature (normally shortlived ones), they are in god mode, too.
Means: go ahead and summon spiders until you have a sufficient amount - they will keep crawling right beside you and probably make fights more easy.

NPC's do not react to the zoo you take with you, but from time to time all those "helpers" might crowd up a scene.
So first save the game, then edit the "1" back to "0" and save, start the game (this time no god mode), and kill those vermin.
After that you change to god mode again - bingo.

A more elegant solution to the point of cheating would be to go to CHU and get the trainer with even more options.

This works great. Damage no longer registers against my characters at all. Though they are still subject to status effects like stun, charm, disease, and frozen. My Armor does still lose Durability from enemy attack though.

Ehhh this kind of works. You can still take damage from status effects. As zere mentioned you can summon creatures without them dying so you can then have multiples, it seem the one downfall to this is that fast travel no longer works i just get a "please gather your party first" message which i assume is because i had 2 fire summons, 2 ice summons and 1 spider summoned at the time.

You can also activate God mode by levelling up and giving your characters man-at-arms 5.

There is also a Witchcraft spell that grants invulnerability later in the game for people that find this a cool option but don't want to cheat.

But, now I feel more confortable with the game, wanted to revert it. What is the entry for that?

EDIT: Nevermind. Got it. Just change the value="1" to value=0. Pretty simple.
