It is essentially a giant levelpack for Doom 1. There's like, three new monsters, one new weapon, and 30 new, high-quality levels.

i allreaddy have "the ultimate doom" is it worth it to get the doom classic complete to get the master levels for doom2 or shold i save 5 bucks and just buy doom2 and final doom.

Would recommend picking up Doom 2. Would also recommend getting the Brutal Doom mod, which includes more gore, weapons, the ability to headshot and fatalities for both you and enemies, and even some demon infighting fatalities. An example: After getting a berserk pack you can snatch a Lost Soul out of the air and throw it at a zombie, who will then run around on fire screaming and damaging other enemies.
Oh, can you can chainsaw up the Revenants (skeletons) and the Mancubus (big fat dude) to get their weapons.
And kick a Hellknight in the balls.
And flip off a Cyberdemon.

Ahh the days when game play was so awesome and new that all it took to interest people was a page of text every ~10 levels.

Oh and awesome music to murder stuff to. I swear it still plays in my dreams when I sleep 20 years later.
