Just beat Doom II

The level design is more of a mixed bag compared to Ultimate Doom, but Doom II definitely kicked ass, and hard. I had to google how to beat the Icon of Sin, but other than that, I had soooo much fun here.

I've heard that Final Doom was going to be pretty hard and frustrating, but in the name of beating all the Dooms, I will have that done, soon!

Alien Vendetta is a great megawad too, definitely worth playing and much harder than vanilla Doom 2.

They're not frustrating so much as exhausting. There's something like double the number of enemies in each of them compared to Doom 2. A lot of the later levels just become a slog.

Try Scyth 2 if you havnt already, its sort of a remake of the game with better level design, at least to me it is

Playing through Quake (very slowly lol) and going to pick up the Heretic/Hexen games on a sale sometime.
