Cubemen 2 - 1.25 is Live - August 15th, 2014
Welcome to Version 1.25

Note: This update brings Cubemen2 inline with our up-coming Cubemen 2 Wii-U release.

  • Improved profile page when reaching max level
  • Improved trapping for network issues/errors

  • Fixed online ping times not being detected properly
  • Fixed a bug that could cause replaying an online game fail for some players
  • Fixed a bunch of cases where player names would hang over UI boundaries
  • Lots of little network play and UI fixes

What's new in v1.01 ?

- New free "Industrial" level theme
- New free "Amethyst" level theme
- New free "Crash Dummy (Sven)" unit skin

- Added in game notification for when a player disconnect and AI takes over

- Improved click off level for unit deselection
- Improved score breakdown list in Territory end of game screen
- Improved "Restart Campaign" button in campaign mode - Now has an "Are you sure?"

- Fixed thumbnail generation when in Ortho camera on level save

What's new in v1.03 ?

- Added custom colours for Single Player games in Customise menu
- Added settings to turn On/Off Random skins on BOTS in Settings menu
- Added new "SET HEIGHT" sculpt mode in level editor
- Added Defense medals on Level thumbnails
- Added credits to Quit screen
- Added destroyed mesh to Skirmish games when a base is destroyed
- Added tower visual path change when tower path blocked by a Wall

- Fixed SID Sniper hurting himself in MP games - For real this time!
- Fixed Skirmish MP games ending at wave 20 if waves setting was higher
- Fixed unit cycling allowing Player to cycle other Players units - woops
- Fixed being able to select other Players units and give them orders - BIG woops

What's new in v1.10 ?

- Added new ERNIE Engineer unit that can remove walls and mines
- Added second defense campaign
- Added new "AWESOME" quality mode for those with super fast hardware
- Added a forced Like / Dislike panel to force players to rate user levels after a game if not already rated
- Added any versus any in teams games (no more 2v2 or 3v3 restrictions)
- Added new local game teams lobby for assigning teams for non-network games
- Added ability to set AI players teams in network game lobby
- Added fireworks at the end of games for the victor

What's new in v1.13 ?

- Updated twitch framework (windows only)
- Added twitch channel data to videos (sorry we forgot them)
- Updated our tween framework to fix some bugs and improve performance
- Fixed some potential crash launch issues on OSX

What's new in v1.15 ?

This update has lot's of minor fixes in it but it is mainly here to bring all platform versions in line (iOS, MAS, Steam) in preparation of our BIG 1.2 update coming out soon.

We are happy to finally announce that the major Cubemen 2 v1.2 update is live on the store!

This update introduces some cool new features and game improvements.

Change List
- Added new MP game mode - King Of The Hill (KOTH)
- Added new MP game mode - Defector
- Added new missions system
- Added new player XP and Levelling system with new global leaderboards and ranks
- Added some new achievements
- Added a few new Cubemen skins (Star Soldier & Axis)
- Refined unit balance to improve play experience
- Improved network game reliability
- Lots of bug fixes and speed optimisations

This version is now in line with iOS and Mac App Store versions for cross platform MP games.

Welcome to Version 1.21

  • Fixed player levelling getting stuck at level 15
  • Fixed Sid Upgrade missions not being detected properly
  • Fixed issue that could award multiple XP bonuses for the same things at game over screen
  • Fixed an issue that would show generic cubemen skins when selecting the new ones
  • Fixed long usernames not fitting into game stats boxes during gameplay.

Welcome to Version 1.22

  • Added progress bars to mission based achievements

  • Fixed player profile MP rank not showing correct values
  • Fixed "All Missions" achievement no awarding ( if you already feel you have achieved it, play a game to the end and it will trigger again)
  • Fixed next wave never starting due to stuck mobs
  • Fixed Teams KOTH games sometimes not starting AI
  • Fixed timer position on teams KOTH games

Known Issues
  • Cubes are not being distributed properly in KOTH team MP games. Will be fixed soon.

*Note: This version has a new internal network version, so it will only allow MP games against other Steam users until we push iOS and MAS versions out.
