Past Ace Combat Games

I think it would be neat if they released the old Ace Combat games for PS2 onto PC, specifically Ace Combat 04. Thast's pretty much all I wanted to say.

If they'd put some damn effort into it, I'd buy the hell out of Zero HD. By effort, I mean some very basic joystick support

Apparently it's gone, I see only 3 polls and none of them related to bringing ACE HD to the PC.

Never mind about port past Ace games.. if this one sales are not good. We are not going to see never again an Ace Combat game on PC.

I believe with a PS2 emulator you can play them on PC anyway, but it wouldn't hurt. 4, 5 and Zero are some of my favourite games ever :D

also its not a official poll so namco may not do anything if it does well the important decision maker is if they did their own poll

Anybody else remember the final mission on AC04, where you had to go through the base? Anybody remember the last mission of Ace Combat with the betryaal at the end(forgot which), where you had to run through a tiny room multiple times? Or the AC5 ending through the winding tunnel? Well nothing of that sort is here. Thats my small spin on this

yes they did betray the original games but now they have used the real world instead of the world we had gotten used to

still this is a good game

but the tunnel areas where a great part of the games before it and i miss them

Tunnel Vission from AC3 is my favourite tunnel part of Ace Combat series. It´s the most challenging on higher difficulty, and that bit in AC5 with satelite was great too.

Just popping in to say that I love the older Ace Combat games, and looking over the aircraft available in the PC port I don't see many of the older fighters that I loved (Heck! This one doesn't even have a Phantom or Tiger variant out of the box? (I'm still going to buy the game anyway.)) I'm hoping they add downloadable planes to the game hub here, but I might like even more if they bring out a bunch of the older AC games to PC. It's a bit of an ordeal to dust off my TV and unbury my PS2 every time I want to play one of the older games. :)
