All the converting and editing tools (minus the actual modelling and texturing programmes) are in your installation directory

To publish to steam workshop you do it via 'bagedit' i think

Here what the readme says: ( readme file can be found under the \tools folder )

1. Create a preview image (.jpg or .png format, NOT .bmp) and place it in the root
of your mod folder (where your mod's "data" folder is located).
2. Open Bag Editor, right click any file inside your mod folder and choose "Mod
3. A file called modinfo.modi is created for you if it does not already exist.
4. Fill in all the info fields but leave "Published Id" to 0 - the id will be
automatically assigned when publishing your mod. For now you can leave
"Visibility" as "Hidden" (default) and make your mod visible on the Workshop
page only when you're happy with it.
5. Click "Publish to Workshop" to launch an external tool which (as long as there
are no issues detected) will start uploading the mod to the Steam Workshop.
6. After a successful upload (it might take a while) the Steam Workshop page of your
mod will automatically open and you can subscribe to your mod download it. Note
that when publishing your mod you need to accept the Workshop Legal Agreement if
you haven't done so previously.
7. There will be a separate entry in the in-game mod manager for your Workshop mod.

Launch the Mod Publish tool like the first time, update the info with the relevant
"Latest Change Note" but leave the "Published Id" field as it is and click "Publish
to Workshop".

!!! IMPORTANT !!! When creating and editing your mod always work with the files
in the game's "mods" folder and not directly those in the Steam Workshop folder.

!!! IMPORTANT !!! Note that if you have edited your mod description or other meta
data on your mod's Steamwork page they will be overwritten by what's in modinfo.modi.

Here a pic to show easiest way to get to Wreckfest game folder ( browse local files ): http://www.lay-zmattress.com/flatout2/purple44/Next%20Car%20Game%202016/steam-verify.jpg

Hee a pic to show the folder structure of customs mods under the \mods folder;

Hi, this what a Google search found:

Doing a Steam search of Wreckfest forum " code found ", only saw your post with code 9 in it.

Reading the posts from links above, seem maybe Value\Steam may have cause this code 9 error in the past with a bad update to Steam.

Will post a link to this thread over at Bugbear forum, see if anybody there know what might cause this.

Your mod load fine in single player?

Mod has the preview pic still?

This mod has been publish already? You were trying to update mod, correct? You did not say what kind of mod this is? Car, track or something else?

If a car, need to add all the new parts to car. If a track, will need to redo the menu files that show your track(s) in the new menu.

Maybe this would trigger a missing file error if you missing something Wreckfest expect to see in the June Build?

it was for AI names, tracks and cars colors
i deleted tracks and cars colors because thought i had wrong create but with AI names only it doesn't work either

maybe, but the AI name file is extremely simple, the error isn't there
on your previous past you think it comes from bagedit and i think so too
there is something should not do properly

Try run bagedit as admin

If your mod does not work properly in single race when you enable your mod, then it not ready be uploaded to Workshop.

As long you got a good work folder, \mods\ai_mod\data\ , then you don't need to publish mod until you got it working.
