[Question] 8,9 MB update today?
Is there a changelog available?

[edit part] Draginol [developer] 3 minutes ago
It adds high resolution support for FE and FE:LH. So it'll look gorgeous on 4K and 5K monitors (like SK).

[edit part 2] It seems by accident a wrong build was uploaded to us Steam users so we have to wait for new info.

[edit part 3] Another 20 MB update but still no changelog. Would really like to know if we have the same build now as before without the registration part.

It has happend many times befor.

I'm sure that is not the case. If you look into the folder you see there are some core files updated today as well in the game folder as in the .exe
It could be possible that it's just an announcement for SK:Rivals but I don't think so.

Anyway for every update to my PC via Steam I would like a changelog:steamhappy:

I agree. I get tired of having these game patches and no information as to what they fix.

Looks like they fixed ZOC disappeared bug.:steamhappy:

not for me - still disappeared for me after load and now even other bugs apeared -_-
csridgway Sep 27, 2016 @ 10:46am
Seems to have introduced new bugs for me. Dagger of the Leech was healing targets instead of the wielder before I verified files. I'm not sure if it still is after doing that. [Edit: It is.]

Regardless I still have several bugged icons. Before the verify my Necklace of Teeth had no graphics. I'm not sure if that bug still exists because I deleted the save game thinking it might be corrupt. After verifying files both the Exhaust and Trident Strike abilities have the double lightning bolt icon. So I'm guessing Necklace of Teeth is probably still wrong too.

Also, I still do have the ZOC issue.

Any update on this?

Not that I saw on Steam. Version still says 2.0 within the game, but that hasn't stopped multiple game makers in the last decade or so of continuing to bypass standard conventions of programming, like actually updating your version number in the game or having some sort of patch notes compiled and released to your customers, or heck even the occasional manual slapped into an update, perhaps via .pdf file.

I saw nothing. You know we have all these computers and somehow the simplest things now are supposedly too time-consuming and hard to do, yet we used to do it even when there was just a stone and a piece of slate. Gotta wonder if all this tech is actually achieving anything.

Reminds me of a show I saw on Turner Movie Classics last night. Was the Hollywood version of "Patterns" by Rod Serling. Anyway, in it you see secretaries answering several phones, each has pretty much one single line. But they know how to forward the call or get the info written down and sent to the right person. They also are very protective of the boss they work for. They know most of the daily needs and events in their head, they leave notes, they listen to the gossip, they purposefully over-hear anything of value and pass that info along. They just were used to the pace, and being smart and understanding the info they got, they knew how to store and pass along the info to the right person.

We live in the impersonal stupid age. No human knows much of anything, no one cares, nothing gets stored, but the computer has it all in various compartments. Unless you handle it yourself, you don't know squat, and the chance to do something in a timely manner gets changed into a time wasting procedure.

Funny enough I saw it at work today as well in the garage. One guy was talking while waiting for a new vehicle to be delivered, so he passed the work order directly, and the lady whose car was supposed to be topped with 2 fluids, got it done in under a minute. But then the other guy mentioned to the guy who passed the info along, that he didn't think they topped the other fluid in the bay because it normally took longer. Luckily the other guy was bored and not in his office and just immediately confirmed it, and yep they forgot. 2 minutes later it was done and complete.

It usually takes 30 minutes to 2 hours -- but take away the computer and make it all personal, just because some guy was helping out and bored while waiting on a vehicle delivery, and it got done in 1/10th the time. No tech 1, tech 0.

If it gets so layered and cumbersome that you can't afford the time to do it because you are multitasking all the wrong things and only the computer remembers what is to be done -- you've lost -- not just time -- you've lost efficiency and control.

Next time your lil sis wants to start a lemonade stand, see how much time it saves her to use the newest Windows 10 on the fastest Intel Chip to do it. My guess, is she'll serve lemonade before her computer arrives.

Sorry, I may not be the Cynical Brit, but I don't sell my accent as a cure-all either. Shouting across the cubicle swarm to the guy who handles your claim and is a good listener still beats the company email system for getting it done. Just, the cubicle swarms are too big now for shouts to be anything but politically incorrect.

One thing I did notice in the update; all the Stamina abilites are missing their icons now.
xrogaan Sep 27, 2016 @ 6:50pm
Sometimes, you get backend update that doesn't change anything about the game. More like a maintenance than anything. Changes so trivials that it doesn't need a changelog because in effect, nothing changed.

I was talking to a Dev yesterday about Stardock account registration still being required in Legendary Heroes (this was SC forum). My post was deleted at the same time this patch was released far as I can tell. My guess... they patched it out.

Even if that is the case it's trival for me that it's mentioned in a changelog:steamhappy:

For me the Stamina abilities all have their icons (I use FELH all DLC, no mods).

The ZOC still dissapears when re-loading a savegame from the main menu.

I completly agree. Well said, nice analogy too.
