'C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroesh/ww2\data\Scenarios/mp
(copy files to that then re load your map via that folder. As WB seems to want to use old folder system before the change to steam.
To test map copy the sga the WB makes after export to
'C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\ww2\data\Scenarios
(no MP folder)
Make sure you have all the sectors joinned up and all enter points before saving to.
For maps to work must be exported to SGA mapname.sga .
To unzip the sga get mod studio from
http://modstudio.corsix.org/
Then choose load sga and export the data folder :)
Alright, I got most of that, but the map still won't save. I converted the map into an .sga, exported to Relaunch, reconverted back into .sgb, and it still won't save.
What am I doing wrong?
It took me awhile to work out why I could not save or even load my maps.
Cos the WB uses the old non steam version it uses
'C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes/ww2\data\Scenarios/mp
So all maps you edit need to be loaded and saved to that folder.
So to edit and save maps
'C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes/ww2\data\Scenarios/mp
To test and play map copy the exported file (sga) to. (export is save to make the file format for COH and save as is the editting files WB needs.
'C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\ww2\data\Scenarios\
data and MP folders are used by t he WB only.
As for the mod studio
If you loose the tga, ino files .mm etc you can use that to get them back.
If you still not sure add me as friend on here and i talk you through it.
I think I royally messed something up -- now when I try to open the WB file from the original COH, I get the 'outside all known mods error'.
Some reason WB think is make an mod I think if I remember
Is the map files in data/scenarios/mp?
Anyway send us all the files and I check it out. Maybe they updated since I loaded my map up other day. Am not sure
I have my files in said folders and works fine
