How do I disable Steam Controls: Shift+Tab?

I use Shift+Tab a lot to toggle between grouped units (reverse). Now it opens a steam menu. How do I disable this?

Open the main window of Steam (outside of a game) and click on "Steam" in the top left corner of the screen. Go to "Settings" and then "IN-GAME". Untick "Enable Steam Community In-Game".

Alternatively, you can enter new shortcut keys for the overlay.

How do I delete the key entirely? I dont want ANY key bound to this. I want it to not work at all ever. (unless i enable it) Because using a controller to play a kb game without any controller support means that the buttons on my controller are emulating keyboard buttons so I accidentally open the overlay (even tho its disabled) through normal gameplay.
IMO the keyboard shortcut should already be disabled if you disabled the overlay it should actually be disabled completely.

This no longer works... there is no "Steam" to click on, no sign of the settings that would control this. Not in "Profile" section which is the only thing I can access.

Edit: Found the settings under Preferences... which makes sense. Cannot disable, only change the hotkey. >:-(

Such a bad feature and it's still here, it confused so many players in ~11 years, it's literally counter-intuitive and the Shift+TAB is such a bad combination.
