Chocolate Doom is great if you want to play the game with the exact same graphics and feel you have now (Chocolate Doom is a recreation of DOS Doom.exe, which the community refers to as "Vanilla Doom"). GZDoom if you want the most user mods and the hi resolution graphics. Zandronum if you want GZDoom with multiplayer, and Odamex if you want a balance between classic feel and new features while playing online.
I would recommend you get Doomseeker with the odamex and zandronum plugins, then get both of those.

I'm more tempted by chocolate doom, 'cause I really love the feeling of having a game like it was before without any changes... But i'll see. Thanks for your help!
