Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

[SOLVED] DualShock 4 (presets for download)
After trying to get XInput configured correctly in SSR, I've just turned it off and switched to DirectInput... and that's something anybody with a DualShock 4 can do, without any extra software. (Which also means that if you DO own any special DS4-to-XInput software, you should turn it off while playing with these presets).

Just connect it and it will work... in games that support DirectInput that is.

Luckily, Serious Sam does... but setting it up is messy. Luckily, distributing the settings is not.

You can't use L2/R2, but I think the rest makes sense.
L1 is Sniper/Use, R1 is Shooting,
L3 is Alt. Fire, R3 is Zoom out,
X is Jump, O is Duck, [ ] is Reload, A is Netrisca,
Start is Pause, Select is Perspective, Touch is Ready,
DigiL is previous weapon, DigiR is next weapon. DigiD is swap weapon.

There are two versions included. One with Y inverted, one without. Using the switch in the controls menu doesn't work.

To use it, download this file and copy the content to your Steam directory. Or browse through the directories inside the ZIP file and copy the content of /SteamApps/common/Serious Sam Revolution/Controls into the corresponding directory inside your Steam folder yourself, your choice.

After that, you'll be able to import those presets through
Options/Player and Controls/Customize Controls/Load Predefined Settings.

Have fun!

P.S. Scratches, if you want to distribute these config files: I'm hereby putting everything in there that I created (which isn't much, but just to be sure) in the public domain.

Scratch cant you just modify DirectInput to enable use of the Axis+ and Axis- functions?

It can save you alot of time compared to setting up a BS, barely cusomizable api used by microsoft
