Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

How to play old Serious Sam maps?
I found a folder on my PC with my old Serious Sam levels that I made as a kid for original TFE and TSE. Anyway to play them today? I tried reinstalling the original game and putting them in Levels/LevelsMP but the game does not recognize them.

They are in .vis .tbn and .wld file types.

I tried compiling a .gro but still the game does not see them. It doesn't work in TSE, TSE HD nor SS Revolution.

The gro files go in the main serious sam directory. What are the levels you are trying to play?

I have old level I made when I was a kid for TSE.

The game does not recognize them if I build a new .gro archive. I tried using Serious Sam Fusion editor to recompile the files and the editor says the files don't have sufficient credentials.
You mentioned original TFE and TSE, and now you're talking about Fusion. You can't just open Classic maps in HD. Revolution is also a bit different, I think, but I'm not a modder.

Open the .wld with the editor. You have to make sure the spawn flags of the world info are there so the level displays in the game list.

It says my .wld isn't signed with sufficient credentials (EDITOR).

The .wld file was created by the original TSE editor.

Is there anyway to convert it to HD, Fusion, or Revolution? The original games also don't see the files, no matter what I tried.

You are trying to open a classic .wld file with Serious Sam Fusion. Even though the extention name is the same, the format is totally different. Open the .wld in ORIGINAL TSE editor. Not fusion, not revolution.

I don't think the classic editor runs on newer systems, even with compatibility enabled to Windows XP or 98. How can I run the old editor, short of building an older 32 bit Windows XP machine?
It does. I have been mapping for years on W10. You need x64 binaries

Steam version should work as well.
