Why is Xmas Survival achievement forced on us?

Should not a gold medals in any play be enough? Seriously speaking survival achievements and leaderboards should not be there at all. Or like Fusion leave it optional.

My eyesight isn't what it used to be cannot handle too much strainous play anymore. This feels like a huge albatross after coming this far. Revolutions has been most unfun of all with tedious stupid grinds needed to get achievements more of a punishment.

It becomes a compulsion if one is also achievement hunter. Survival & vs should be optional not compulsary. I am achievement hunter and it psyches me out. started some sessions years ago in love of game and some of the unlocked ones now irritated me no end so went all out. It shouyld be optional. Try any map get a gold done.
