Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

Fullscreen is not working
my laptop supports 1920x1080,however i prefer to play serious sam on 4:3 like 1024x768 or 800x600,but when i choose those 2 resolution, the screen features black bar on the right side and looks weird, like it isnt windowed and it isnt fullscreen...i tried increasing the res to 1280x720 but same results. As i said i dont want to play t his game on 1920x1080 because i got used to playing it on 800x600.This issue is not present in the classics, only in revolution.Any fix?

4:3 resolution should have black bars on widescreen display. Otherwise it will be stretched with incorrect aspect ratio.
What are you expecting with a 4:3 resolution on a 16:9 monitor? What's your goal?

to work the same as in the classics,Fullscreen but black bars or stretched? My problem is why is something that works perfectly in the classics not working in revolution thats supposed to be optimised for modern systems
Oh wait, I just realized that I misread something from your original post. The black bar is only on the right side, not on both sides? I hadn't noticed that before. My bad.
I still find it strange that you don't want to play at 1080p, but I have no idea how or if your issue can be fixed.

a work around is to put the desktop res to 800x600 as well....then it works normally. But then again, why bother with that when classics just run fine? Was thinking of playing revolution to get some ach and check it out,,,but it kinda seems inferior to the classics.
