At least you got the ne CoD and Battlefield to keep you entertained.
was a fantastic time in arcade gaming history, it was why the games we have now are the way they are, you aren't considering that, it was because of this game that we broke into something other than flat animations.
Thanks Don.
All you had to do was google Dragon's Lair and plenty of videos would have popped up showing the style of game play this is.
The game was never really that good to begin with as at the time of it's release it was more about the technology, which made it fascinating to play. I recommend in the future, whenever you are thinking about purchasing a video game, just use google and make sure you do a little research on it. This way you won't buy something that is totally different than what you were expecting.
This game isn't for you kid. The fact that you are spouting on about pac man and black and white arcade games is proof of that. This game IS a nostalgia game. This game IS for people that loved the original Don Bluth Laserdisc games, people that grew up in the 80's with saturday morning cartoons and quarters in their pocket.
This game IS NOT for you, obviously.
You saw a vid, clicked buy... and didn't know you were getting an 10 minute QTE trip down a memory lane you never lived on.
Buyer beware kid.
um...the OP is not "spouting on about pac man and b&W arcade games" that was a different guy defending this game
What I wanted to say with my post was that I just felt kinda cheated because I had a different expectation from the game judging by the trailer. I suppose it was wrong to only base my choice on the trailer... but still, there were no hints that it was some quick-time event the entire game.
Oh, and rythm games? yeah I played some but they were music based (Audiosurf, guitar hero, etc') I just didn't click with this game.
Cheers.
