Road to asia assets file not showing in the mod manager

the title says it all, i had to download road to asia free, which meant that i would't have had to unpack the folder, so i have 4 scs files. i extracted the scs from my folder that i put all the mods in the mod folder for ets2, and it isnt showing up in the mod manager. even though the mod shows on the map, it isnt showing the city names and i cant take jobs to the cities in the mod. hope someone helps me :)

Do the mod author have any installation instructions, recommendations of load order or list of tested compatible/incompatible mods?

i dont think that the author has videos about it, but ive found a video about it and its load order and it perfectly fine
