I have DLC Going east, and i would not play without it, and you also got to have the new promod 1.5.2 With Skandinaia and France just a Mod there are release.

More cities are always good. Yes there are promods and TSM map, but you can't run both of those at the same time. You can alternate though. It's really cheap just get it.

If you enjoy the game, why not chip in some extra couple of bucks to help with their next project? Content wise, it adds in Hungary, finishes out the rest of Poland along with some other places.
Can always check out Squirrel videos.

"Going East" is an expansion of countries such as: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. This DLC is more for people, who lives in this countries.

I have Going East and certainly like it. If you also have Promods' map pack too, you can add Poland Rebuilding (it adds about eight cities and some nice details) since it requires both. :hittheroad:

Well I don't think it's only for people who live in this countries. I'm from France and I'm glad I can find long-haul jobs to the east of Europe. :letsgo:

The Going East portions of the map seem to have better detailing than the original sections. Granted it's not massive like TSM, the relatively low price makes this DLC well worth it especially in a sale.

I'm an American and I'm ecstatic to finally be able to drive through Hungary.

Agreed. I'm in the US, I see the DLC as more about adding additional cities than about adding specific countries. ETS2 seems to downplay the importance of counties in the game any way. The borders are shown on the map but there not very prominent. Now this may just be my American view of the world but I feel like I'm driving in Europe rather than in any one European country. The UK's an exception but then for whatever reason I make a distinction IRL between the UK and continental Europe. Maybe it's driving on the other side of the road or using MPH when the rest of Europe uses KPH, or it's being an island but the UK has always been somewhat separate from Europe in my mind

Back on the OP question, yes GE is worth it, both in terms of the quality of the content it adds and in supporting the dev. I'm not as big on the Skin DLC, as theamed skins just are not something I'm interested in using. I did purchase the Halloween one however to support the dev.

US here too, the major differences between countries lies in the signage they use to warn you about speed cameras. Germany's being one of the worst lol.. small sign on the side of a road, looks like it's warning you about a bump or some sorta road construction.
