Balkan DLC and other map mods

I'm new to this game and just bought the Balkan DLC + the other 4 map DLC's. It looks and feels amazing.. But I'm already looking for expanding my maps with some of the map mods out there. Promods, rusmap, roextended, North map, Paris rebuild etc.. My question is which of all those different map mods are compatible with the new Balkan? Could someone educate me a bit on this subject as well.. Thanks a lot..

look up 'wombat trucker ' on youtube , he does a good job updating map mods that work together with the current version of the game

Because this DLC just came out, and 1.33 went live, most of the map mods will need to be updated. Give them a week or 2 and then have a look. But as it stands now. Promods and Rusmap are the best to add to your game. But we are all waiting on news as to if they are updated or not. Just give it a little time. Drive with what you have for now.

Play what you have for a while and have fun with the DLCs before thinking about installing map mods.
Most (if any) are not updated for the Baltic DLC yet, and that will take a little time.

Hey OP,..
As already said above, stick with your DLC for the moment because the current version of Promods will override the SCS version of Baltic which is not a bad thing if you don't mind that because it's far superior in terms of extra roads, streets and buildings e.t.c but then that's what Promods is all about for every country.

At the moment ProMods will simply overwrite the Baltic DLC.. So if you wish to see Baltic no ProMods. Also RusMap will crash - so no RusMap.


Maps that will run with baltic (and tested): Southern Region (connection by Ferry), Romania Extended, Paris Rebuild, Swedish Islands, YKS Turkey (using RoEx Fix). The Great Steppe will also load but isolated with no connections.

Other map mods not requiring ProMods will also probably still run, assuming they did before installing Baltic DLC.

I appreciate everones answer to my question. And I have to say that Rusmap 1.8.1 is definitely not compatible even using spruce fix and the legacy. As Roadrunner said Rusmap will crash. I have tried installing it according to all the loadorder suggestions outthere. Rusmap will simply not load. Again thanks for valuable information. I will remain patient for the updates and stick with the DLC´s.

By the way, you do not need Spruce Fix now with 1.33.

I am currently running ProMods, Rusmap, Southern Region, Great Steppe, Balkans Project and a few other smaller map addons in 1.33 with the Baltic DLC installed. The Baltic DLC content is indeed overwritten but it doesn’t bother me, as ProMods and Rusmap will be updated soon enough

You can find the proper mod load order in the ProMods forum. If anyone needs it posted here I can get to it later today

Does this Rusmap Update actually require SCS Baltic to be installed to work though?

No RusMap 1.8.1 will work without Baltic and does not require the fix above but will need the 1.33 fix for the DEF file.

So just to be clear then am I right in saying that for ETS-2 v1.33, you need the following and SCS Baltic DLC not neccessarily required??

Promods v2.32
Rusmap v1.81
Rusmap def Fix v1.81

What about this Legacy Fix I've been reading about? is that still needed?
