Help with RCM (Right-Click Menu)
So, basically, i started a game in normal mode with 38 sectors and 3 factions.

I used the only cockpit given to me, as well as 1 hull piece and 1 of the 2 given engines. I tried right click to add subsystems, but rather than bringing up a menu like the game said, nothing happened. When i hover my cursor over a piece, it turns into a transparent shade of blue.

Please help! I cant play the game without the capability to place subsystems!

I'm having this same issue and am working to resolve it.

See if this helps you:
Go to your Library and right click on Kinetic Void and go to properties. Go to the Local Files tab and click on "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." and let it find any missing files. It found six for me which didn't seem to help but maybe it will help in your case.

Here's what you do:

1) Do what I typed previously because I'm sure that helps
2) In game go into Options > Controls and Reset to Default. Hit Apply and you should be good to go.

I did I restart of Steam after step one but It may not be necessary. Good luck and let me know if this helps.

I just got back from a short vacation with my fam, i cannot seem to find the Kinetic Void File in Libraries, I went to documents are there are no Kinetic Void related files.

More Information that may assist:

1. I could not perform this action on ANY parts of the ship, did not discriminate

2. I am using the Steam Variant of Kinetic Void

3. It did not matter whether or not i played Creative or Career, the problem persisted in both game modes.

@Dicerson - Should have mentioned this is all In Steam, not in any local folders on you computer. In Steam click on Library in your menu bar so you can look at all the games you have downloaded then follow the steps provided.

Let me know if you can't find it again.
