I will help you.

Go back to the discussion lobby. Look on top of the posts, you'll see 2 sticky posts written by the devs themselves, telling you to check there for any troubleshooting instead of asking it here.
I checked by myself, and that d3d11 error is there, well explained and detailed.

I hope you got it fixed. Here is from the thread I previously referred you :

Failed to initialize d3d11 error 0

This could be a driver related issue, could you please make sure you:

- Update your Direct X 11
- Update your graphics drivers
- Update you sound drivers

80% of the problems fixed so far have been driver related, so make sure you keep these update to date.

If you are still having issues after updating your drivers please could you send us your DxDiag so we can look into this issue further.

I'm glad to see someone else with this problem :)
I spent 2 hours last night searching the net for an answer with no luck, TILL!!!!

I remembered that i hadn't installed all that was offered by my nvidia 550ti driver, I left out all the 3D part and ONLY Installed the driver itself, so I re-installed the driver (clean install) and only unticked the updater, on re-starting steam after re-installing the driver, all worked fine, NO Failed to Initalise D3D11 ; Error Code 0.

Hope this helps.

Well that's what I said too (and that's what Rebellion Threads sticky posts are meant to do too)
- Update your Direct X 11
- Update your graphics drivers
- Update you sound drivers

Could check up on the top of the threads list for this game, you'll see devs put many troubleshooting steps for issue like this.

Yes I went there first :)

Its one of those situations where you go down the list and tick them off as done, I never used the 3D part of the driver for modern warfare 3 l4d1 and 2 payday etc as they all worked just fine without and I thought sniper elite would be no different, how wrong was I ? :)

Lets hope It helps someone In the future fix there problem.

Ok, and what happens? Or rather what does it do and/or say?
Any error msgs?

If a game failed to launch past the initial install where it first tries to install 3rd party apps/runtimes, such as DirectX, Visual C++, etc... then go to game properties > local files > verify game cache. Which can help resolve common issues due to corrupted game files.

Aside from this, having above the recommended system specs and ensuring your drivers are up to date should help get a game loading properly.

Also please be sure to post hardware specs & OS when posting such questions.
