Do I seriously have to buy Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 to get a perfect game for Zombie Army 1? They cannot be real? Surely? If so, that sort of crap can't be allowed. It has to be against Steam policies surely.. You're forcing players to buy more game content to be able to complete the core game.

i already had the first one. my complaint is I cannot get a "perfect game" because I'm required to buy the second to do so, which is mental.

Actually that CAN be allowed. Not having that achievement doesnt mean you "cant complete the core game:" Achievements are sometimes hard, or require acquiring of something, either with virtual means or actual real life means. In this case it would be real life means as you would have to spend real money to complete this achievement.

Remember, all an achievement really means is that you achieved something. However I do agree with you that its pretty lame to put that kind of achievement in the game.

Achievements originally came from achieving something from the game you were playing, not achieving something by buying another game from the f**king publisher’s catalogue of products.. You’re completely off you're rocker if you think that's right?!

It's bad enough that many games now add to the achievements with DLC's that you must buy, but at least these DLC's are for the same game and are usually a couple of quid (if that).

But heck, if you're happy to spend money buying additional games because you feel it’s a fair way to achieve something that should be gameplay based, be my guest mate.

You are taking what I said WAY too personally, as if im trying to upset you and that is not the case sir. All I said is some achievements are stupid like that. If you dont want to buy the game, then you dont get the achievement. I NEVER said that it was OK for the game company to do that, as a matter of fact I think its wrong too but what can we do? Spend our time protesting to them about it, hoping it will change?

Most people will just say "meh I just wont have all the achievements cause im not buying that JUST for an achievement."

I find these forums quite humorous really, what I don't find humorous is money grubbing development tactics such as these.. But hey-ho.. Like you say, we don't have to buy it.

I honestly wish there was more we could do , other than complain about it. Its all about the money. The old saying goes, "There's a sucker born every minute." That applies to this situation as well. Someone , somewhere will go ,"You know i DO want the achievement and what the hell, its only 15 dollars..."
