Flipper delay ruins gameplay experience
This COULD be a fun pinball game, however, the delay when hitting the flipper buttons kills the experience. Almost worth buying if not for the delay.

Playing on a controller or a keyboard? I've no lag at all, using wireless keyboard here.

Keyboard. And the dealy is not a long one, but it does create a problem.

Also no delay with a wired keyboard (MS gaming keyboard) I'm kinda curious though what people mean with that delay.

I could make a movie of it but thats not going to show the delay. How would you know when I hit the shift keys? Lets put it this way, when you hit the flipper button there is a very small lag when the flipper actually flips.
After reading the discussions a bit I'm seeing others with the same problem.
Windows 7 here, 8G ram, a partridge in a pear tree, etc...

No delay here, using XBox 360 Controller.
From what i read i got the impression that this might be related to framerate or V-sync issues.
For me it works fine with an xbox 360 controller and v-sync forced in the nvidia control panel.
I agree tho that this issue if its occuring on certain setups can spoil the fun when the mechanics lack consistency. :(

At first i thought i noticed some delay with the flippers too ..not much just a lil, i assumed that this was supposed to be representing the inertia that u'd experience with RL pinball tables and i got used to it pretty quick. Can't judge how much of a delay here is on other systems than mine.

No delay here on either MS Sidewinder keyboard or 360 controller.

I played the 360 version previously and I can tell that there's a very slight delay present. It's small but it did affect my game.

I had this issue as well (playing demo with an Nvidia 9600). I was able to fix it by setting my Vsync global setting (Nvidia Control Panel) to: "Adaptive". Hopefully it will still work after I purchase some tables.

I have the delay on both keybaord, and X360 wireless controler.
Tried with, and without V-sync, same results.
No delay on my wired keyboard. Already racking up high scores :D

I had a delay issue on my tv with xbox, and it was because of the tv. Maybe you have similar issues? Are you using a tv or maybe an hdmi cable verses vga?

This did help with ball of end of flipper delay though I have a beast of a system. It did not save the physics though or make it feel like pinball. The ball seems to be glued to the table board.

Seems more time was spent making sounds and graphics than work on the physics.

Lowering "maximum pre-rendered frames" in nvidia control panel can also help. And setting monitor to 60Hz refresh, too. Also, if it's a TV or TV/monitor hybrid, ensuring it's in game mode, with motion smoothing, 120Hz emulation, and other image processing off will help.

I've been playing and don't see any delay but my old man played and he was instanstly complaning that there was a delay. Used 360 controller and my monitor has only a 2ms delay.
