Is it me or is the title of this game a blatant copy of ''The Journy Down''
Exact same font, color, and style.

Your question is unfair. I don't know how we're supposed to know whether you are a blatant copy of "The Journy (sic) Down".
52pickup Mar 18, 2013 @ 4:26pm looks completely different from what I see.
typical. Mar 18, 2013 @ 4:28pm
It's not the same font in the slightest.

Basically yes, it is just you.

Do you mean this game?

because ummm... That looks quite a bit different I think. But it looks cool. I think I'll check it out!

Funny, I had a different thought. Not complaining mind you ...

I was thinking "Laura Croft" not long into the game.

Only difference being a male protagonist.

Seems like a Gears of War clone without the steroids, chainsaws and gore. The cover system is the same though.

Nonsense. This is clearly a Sonic the Hedgehog Clone. Minus some minor differences, of course. Mar 19, 2013 @ 1:16pm
You're all wrong, this game is a blatant copy of a game called Cryziz, it's so obvious.
Segovax Mar 19, 2013 @ 1:37pm
I bought this for my wife because it looked like a Sims 4 clone with rabies.

Thanks for the helpful comments guys. Jeez. Yep Andy, that's the one I meant. The font of the title of the game looks very similar.
Linkk Mar 21, 2013 @ 8:41am
You get this logical answers because your question is stupid. There is not anywhere the same font, artwork or something equal xD
But I think Andy has used the Frostbite 2 Engine.

We actually tried to license Frostbite 2 for this game but the licensing fees were too high, so I just coded the equivalent of Frostbite 3 myself instead.

Obviously I'm not using any of the 3D modelling features, but there is some depth-sorting going on.

I am reminded of "alter ego", of which is still own the original floppy disks from 1986. Google finds me a conversion to a browser game at .

Alter Ego absolutely was an inspiration; I'm happy that someone else knows the game. Hopefully, though, we've created something unique.

It is a generic "Pick your own adventure game", nothing else.
