And the games more laggy then ever, i'm lucky to get 10-15 FPS and thats looking straight up. when running my char skips every few steps and i have graphics on low.
Last discussion got locked, so I posted a polite version this time with some stuff added on top of it.
(I have a feeling the "obvious" you're talking about is the music being a rip off of Unreal Tournament haha)

1) My computer is about 2 years old now and wasn't even near top of the line when I built it, but I never drop below 50-60 fps and thats with my graphics turned on high and view distance as high as it goes.
2) Complaints over what "real" zombie would do are of course wide open to personal opinion. I would tend to agree with you that zombies shouldn't flank if we are being true to lore. Of course it would depend on what lore you are using. It is easy to say that the zombies in Resident Evil or 28 Days Later don't act like zombies should because they aren't like Romero Zombies which are the basis of modern zombies. So any discussion on what zombie "should" do needs to be prefaced with what source material you are drawing from.
I chalk the flanking up to a game design decision and an effort to give players what they asked for (zombies that were at least a little bit of a challenge). If they got it right or not is a matter of personal opinion, but at least they tried.
3) Hehe I find the sprinting animation hilarious, but yes I agree that it is a bit off-putting if you are trying to get "into" the game.
4) Punkbuster is something else the players asked for and now people are complaining about once we got it. Plus any complaints about how PB works should properly be directed at PB and not this game. That would be like complaining that Iphones are crap because mine wont connect to WiFi when my friend forgot to pay his bills and got his WiFi turned off.
5) I remember you mentioning this before and I have tried to replicate it on multiple occasions and it has never happened to me once. So I dont know what to say here, either it is a very random occurance or it is a made up issue, or it is caused by something locally.
6) Never noticed this. Going to have to go in game and check it out :D
I've seen that before and would like to know where it is. Because after seeing it I went out and tried to find it. I found the weathervane in Hill Ranch and it not like this, which leads me to think that image was doctored. If it is in the game please tell me where.
It was on top of one of the safe zones. I have no idea if it's still there now, since they got pretty upset whenever people would post the picture on the forums, but it was as of 3 months ago.
That particular picture was cut down a little smaller by me, because the bottom of it had a tag on it that I got 7 warning points for on the forum.

Anyway... I was playing Killing Floor once more and thinking of the flanking matter and I noticed the zombies in Killing Floor ALSO FLANK, but it was coded SO DAMN WELL I hadn't even noticed; and I went on to analyze it further.
When they want to attack you, they just try to overwhelm you and run to you in a straight line, but before they decide to attack you they can vary the angle at which they're walking VERY LITTLE while STILL FACING YOU. They don't turn to face another direction. They strafe a little bit, and when they're running to attack, IF (ONLY IF) there is another zombie on the way they strafe a little too (just enough to pass by the other zombie); and that's only valid for the weaker ones... the stronger ones will KILL ANYTHING IN THE WAY.
These mechanics are close to perfect in Killing Floor, because they really focus on what zombies do better (overwhelm you). In this game you can run into a horde knowing that AT LEAST half of them will run away from you hahahhaa. You kill some and still have the time to climb something to stay safe (because the ones in infestation can't climb anything and can't jump even though every zombie has its legs and quite preserved bodies).
Since I promised to myself I wouldn't use any bad words, that's it (even though I wanted to use hundreds of them lmao).
