Issues upgrading account from trial
Hi guys,

I downloaded this game from the official website and played on trial servers for free.

Then i uninstalled the game and bought the game from steam. Downloaded it etc .. and now im doing login with the same account i was using for trial servers. I do manage to login but account is still trial.

So.. im confused. What should i be expecting? A code to upgrade the previous account? Account should be upgraded automatically since account id (email) is same used for steam ?

What im i doing wrong?

PS: I didnt get any code so far... just the receipt that purchase was succesfull

I'm pretty sure you can't upgrade your trial account to a full one, well you might be able to but would have to make a support ticket which could take weeks to get a reply through. It is probably best if you make a new account and use that to log into through Steam. To be honest it has been so long since I bought this game I cannot remember for sure how they go about issueing the keys.

I do know however that for some reason if you bought the game through the website and not through Steam then you can't get a steam key anymore, not sure why they changed that but as of a few weeks ago Steam keys were not being issued by HAmmerpoint.

EDIT: is where you need to go to open a ticket.

if you've bought the game from steam, login with steam account

if you bought if you bought the steam version

then you have to uninstall the trial version completely

then you download, install and run the steam version

then when prompted you have to register a new email address and password and accept to link you existing steam account with the newly registered email address and password

you cannot use an existing email address and password

contact hammerpoint support for your credits

a number of people who recently purchased on steam have reported this. it maybe steam is out of sync with them perhaps something changed from what some have reported so the sales items maybe dated on steam and not matching their servers anymore so u dont end up with credits until support manually puts them in...
